Menopausal Skin Intelligence

Hi, I’m Dorota.

Why I Started this Blog

Like many women in their 40s, I started to notice that my skin was behaving differently. The products that worked for years suddenly stopped delivering, and the advice I found usually fell into two extremes: vague natural remedies or aggressive medical interventions.

When I couldn’t find straightforward answers about how menopause changes our skin biology—and how natural ingredients can actually address it—I decided to find them myself.

I am not a dermatologist or a cosmetic chemist. I am a researcher and a formulator with a relentless curiosity. I treat my skincare lab with the same rigor others treat a PhD thesis.

What You’ll Find On This Blog

My mission is simple: To bridge the gap between natural beauty and hard science. I spend my days researching clinical studies, testing formulations, and analyzing ingredients so I can share what really works for hormonal skin.

Welcome to my lab. Let’s figure this out together.

The name? Mehautiq [meh-how-teek] combines ME for Menopausal, HAUT (skin in German), and IQ — because understanding your skin is the first step to caring for it.
